Join the 2016 Canada Prizes winners Caroline Caron (UQO), Caroline Durand (Trent), Nancy Turner (Victoria) and Brian Young (McGill) for interviews with Federation’s new President-elect Guy Laforest about their prize winning books. Awarded annually to the best books funded by the Awards to Scholarly Publications Program (ASPP), the Canada Prizes recognize books that make an exceptional contribution to scholarship, are engagingly written, and enrich the social, cultural and intellectual life of Canada. A reception following this event will also celebrate the ASPP’s 75th anniversary.

With Caroline Caron, Professor, Département des sciences sociales, Université du Québec en Outaouais; Caroline Durand, Assistant Professor, History Department, Trent University; Nancy Turner, Distinguished Professor, School of Environmental Studies, University of Victoria; Brian Young, James McGill Professor Emeritus, McGill University
